First time we've ever seen hail in Germany. Oh well, at least we were dry and had our schnitzel and beer.

Hail in Germany!?!?
One of our favorite places in the Kaiserslautern area is the Bremerhof beer garden. Last Friday Jeff had the day off and I got off work early. Since it was a nice sunny day we thought it would be a great opportunity for a schnitzel and a beer at Bremerhof. Well, it was sunny when we left the house but clouds had rolled in by the time we sat down in the beer garden and it eventually turned into this.

Wild! When we visited Germany with the boys in May/June 2007, we were hailed on as well...we couldn't believe that in Texas we were re-roofing at the time due to hail damage, traveled all the way to Germany, and got hailed on again!
